Details of machining, forging and casting
During meticulous machining, its mechanical properties are superior to cast iron, but this material has poor cast iron properties and a higher melting point than other materials. There are many issues to consider during processing, mainly because the fluidity of the molten steel is relatively poor. To prevent insufficient casting or cold shuts during processing, the wall thickness of the meticulous machining cannot be less than 8mm. Its gating system structure is relatively simple. During use, the cross-sectional dimensions of the equipment should be larger than those of cast iron, so that hot casting or dry casting can be used during processing.
Temperature determines the good fluidity of the melt during pouring. The temperature for meticulous machining should be determined based on factors such as pouring distance, temperature drop during pouring, alloy, specifications, and flow rate. The meticulous machining temperature is 50 to 110℃ higher than the alloy liquidus temperature. The manufacturing temperature ensures good fluidity of the melt during pouring. When selecting the casting temperature, the equipment needs to consider factors such as the pouring distance and the temperature drop during the pouring process.
